I am on vacation, cannot access owa.myloweslife.com - does that mean I am laid off? Anyone else has similar problems?

Does not have to mean anything. Mine is working but in your case may be your internet connection or whatever. They need to officially communicate to you that you are cut, so it's not like they just turn off email and Lowe's get to walk away from you.
Just be patient, come back from vacation and you will know.
