That is it and enough is enough. All these fabricated lies stop and they stop NOW. PERIOD. We have resources to reveal your TRUE IDENTITIES. Current employees could face reprimand up to and including termination. Past employees face negative job references and possible criminal charges for slander and or defamation. I strongly suggest you either get with the program or hush up. You act like CHK has lost standing but fail to exercise any self-evaluation of your contributions to the overall betterment of us as a whole.
To any shareholders or vendors on the outside reading this; you are not getting a fair view of what we as individual employees are about. On a consistent and regular basis I see the true CHK employees going the extra mile and picking up the slack from this small group of angry people. We have had a couple bad days but the spirit of those colleagues who gave it all is like nothing I have ever seen. In all my years (a lot) in the industry I have never experienced this level of pride in an employee’s labor of love. That is why we never give up. That is why we do this. That is why we are CHK.

But maybe you are right; if we had only left for AEP when we had the chance! Fact of the matter is; we now make more money than we did when you were an employee!
OP here, of course I'm trolling and baiting for responses but you need to get your head checked if you think Chesapeake is headed in the right direction. That place is full of self serving pricks and psychotic a--holes. I might not've survived the layoffs but I know several people who did and all but one have since left the company because of the sh--show that it became. And I feel terrible for the one that's left behind; she makes it sound like she struggles every day with her decision to stay.
Current and past CHK are the same damn company. It's just a bunch of incompetent "leaders" who will stop at nothing in pursuit of leaving their mark, even when faced with clear indications that their actions are harmful to the company, the shareholders, and their fellow man. All the talk about openness to new ideas and leadership development was lipservice at best. I'm aware that I sound like a crazy person but that's only because I'm so bitterly disappointed with what's been squandered. It could've been so much more.

Why would you post this type of nonsense? You are a troll and all you other negative posters. I come in here to read all the BS you ex-employees say and it is ever clear your termination was justified. Don't get me wrong some very good people got cut during our little downtime and for those I wish well. The rest of us are stronger for staying loyal as the industry is now in full recovery with the OPEC deal. We learned a lot from a couple bad decisions and now know what not to do. I am not alone when I say I am excited about the future of CHK and all the wonderful employees who have gotten us to where we are now.
The rest of you negative posters need to find a different line of work, for this industry is not for sissies nor whiners.

I heard over a bottle of '2010 CHK We Rule and the Rest Drool party Veuve' last night that we are all getting raises, all getting promotions and all getting bonuses no matter how we performed. Also back to the 6month comp cycle and we are to break ground on a new fitness center shortly. Lobster back on the menu and c---tail DUI Thursday's by the fountain to sart back in February. All because that made us "the best in the industry" before.
