I wonder if Leadership is embarrassed even slightly, that the entire San Juan asset employee base would rather be laid off than stay with Conoco for even 1 more month? There are literally people begging to get the boot so they don't have to play the game for even 1 more pay period. That is sad on several levels.

Can't assure you of anything. Layoffs every several months, butyeah, come on over.
Also, assure me of 3 years of continuous work and I'll move myself!

I'll come out of retirement and go up there and will work for 3/4 of my final monthly pay. Won't b*tch about the management and will show up early and work late like I did!
Just sell the Company. This multi-year destruction of value needs to come to an end. Leadership and Board of Directors need to consider any and all value adding alternatives.
