There were layoffs in 2002 and 2003 in some stores. I remember people were freaking out including upper management. I quit in 2007 and that was the best decision of my life. Never again will I allow that kind of stress in my life. Struck out on my own and doing very well. D--k was alive and well when all this was going down. Never trust big corporations when it comes to money! Including the ones that you think have your back, that's a fact!
There was a time you would be given a gift or bonas staying with a company for so long; now it's a pink slip.
It's all about money. Pure greedy corporations. And it's never enough.
