This is an admirable thought, but in all reality, Halliburton is too big to fail entirely, although its ability to ride on its past reputation is decreasing at a rapid pace, thanks to its modern management practices.
Today's MAJOR oil companies, although they are run on the same business principles, have learned that, by and large, Halliburton has nothing to offer, that the competition does not have, and that Halliburton has become the very embodiment of the old saying that "if you can't dazzle them with brilliance, then baffle them with b---s---".
