seems like your managers just passed the info from engineering teams, it has been always like this?
Our engineering teams are very technical and they know what to do, don't see the same here...
I told them this is QC and unfortunately you will be part of this falling down company, I hope NXP can cut all these unproductive people and turn the company around.

Maybe once the NXP merger is over, they'll finally get rid of Freescale dead wood, and make Qualcomm folk just earn their keep.
People misunderstand the NXP head count Qualcomm is buying. NXP is divesting the Standard Products group with 11,000 employees. After that, Qualcomm and NXP will be equal size companies.
Really do you know the number of employees at NXP? We will see...

According to NXP, QC has 50% of people doing nothing. These people will be cut once the merge is completed,they will be chasing for all paperpusher & status collectors, please be aware and leave while you can !!!

Qualcomm will assume they can lead the NXP left-overs into a HUGE automotive market. Unfortunately, when they try to implement their marketing folks overseas it will be a HUGE mistake. Advantage - NXP's other competitors.
nothing will change, in few days NXP's upper management will realize how good life is being status collector, paper pusher and getting all benefits for no work. instead of changing qcom they will get infected.
this is true... nxp stayed afloat from being bankcrupt by just maintaining the right amount of ppl and cutting whenever they see opportunity.. for sure if they apply this to qcomm lots of people will be affected
They are questioning because QC organization is a Joke, what do you expect by looking a bunch of paper pushers with VP, principal and director titles? They are right and wishing they can come and clean up this crap.
