Article was San Jose centric. Any insight to the Windex happening in RTP? Middle mgmt cleaning is needed! Too many sr mgrs and directors that have titles but have no clue how to be true leaders.

WARN Act carry over results in layoff on March 8 out of EMEA and APAC, but we will also shed some middle management (Sunnyvale) that is redundant and no longer effective. Expect to see underperforming sales reps cut as well. If you are bit contributing to the transformation effort and or assisting in making a change and or more recognized as a problematic employee then, this will be your time as well. And no, we don't want EMC staff.

So with the financial quarter looking better then maybe we expected, is the March 8 layoff still on?

Looks like things have been getting much better than everyone was thinking. It was a great result and stock is looking good. Hope they found the right caulk to fill the hole of the sinking boat and no layoff on March 8

Netapp was hiring at the time my group got cut too, what's your point? Relocation and downsizing doesn't mean they freeze hiring.

its all the Dell/EMC people trolling this site kicking up dirt while they look for jobs. NetApp is actually hiring and we would be glad to have some EMCers

I think you missed the earlier thread that explained that is a carry-over from the last layover that happened. Some WARN act.
