Just as I thought, this "restructuring" has done nothing but save the corporate pigs money, make a whole new batch of overpaid managers, all wearing new clothes and hairdos but working less than ever.
Now I am being micro-managed, reminded 10x a day of what I already know by a managers trying to justify their new positions. Instead of telling me what to do while I'm already working at something, why don't their sorry, lazy asses do the little tasks they ask others to do. Stupid sense of entitlement.
Here's what I know:
-I'm working harder.
-Mangers are still doing what they did before - not working.
-More PT workers, fewer FT positions.
-More and more seasonal workers are kept seasonal past the time when they are supposed to be permanent workers, or let go. Lowe's just keeps them on past their contract dates, which means they have no right to a raise and no benefits.
Lowe's is such a sh--ty company...does anyone believe all the propaganda the spew?
To Lowe's: you are just a paycheck to me, nothing more. I would leave (and will) as soon as I have a decent job opportunity. In the meantime, I do my best to talk customers OUT of buying products at Lowe's, and suggesting how they can save money & get better quality somewhere else.
Screw Lowe's and the entire corporate system.
