Absolutely correct it looks like managers were time to purposely put people on PIP. How can you justify that when associates have never received a write up and previous evaluations were exceed and off shore people have sent good recommendations on your behalf. You were suppose to be evaluated prior to the layoff and your manager cancelled the eval and out of nowhere you are put on PIP and never evaluated. Looks like it was a set up for lay off all along as to why your eval was cancelled in the first place. Lawyer up is what I perceive. Walmart is a king for lawsuits. They got it so make them pay for all theyve done to you guys who qualify for the long haul. The celebrity played their game and came out smelling like a rose. Hate to feel this way but it is what it is.

Managers are told to put employee on PIP when employees have not done anything wrong. When the manager question these decisions they get cut. That is what is going on and it will continue to happen. No one is safe. Layoff will happen on Monday for ISD. It will be over by April 14
Definitely should layoff at the VP and Director level as poor leadership kills results. Need to take a look at historical AES scores and Open Door issues, as well as leaders who drag their feet and are blocking efforts to win in eCommerce
Lay offs will continue through the year. The plan is to overall reduce the HO workforce by 1/3rd. Anyone with an active coaching in the last 2 years or a needs development rating is likely to go.
Heard that the levels of Vice President, Senior Director, Director positions overall and HO especially are being reviewed extremely hard now.
If they've not performed at the highest of expectations- then they are toast next.
Heard something about co managers last in first out under 90m only get two.
