Singling out private schools is outrageous. You want to help students, help them all. But be prepared to kill creative programs nationwide- if the only qualifier is salary after graduation. No poets, dance, theater, arts, english lit- the list will be endless.
Many students don't necessarily go in to the careers they study. College is more then a paycheck. It focuses goals, build character and contacts. The DOE should track the numbers and colleges must be honest with students about their prospects.
Students need to be realistic that not all programs are successful right after graduation. It takes time to build your career.
