Tried many times to apply for internal job posting with no luck.
Does the hiring manager already have someone in mind to fill in the position? If the manager already have someone in mind then why bother posting the job online...

These job postings/openings are nothing more than a way local management use to follow HR policy.
99 percent of the time, the job openings, if, in fact, they really do exist, are already filled by someone local.
At one time you could use your own contacts to find out if other camps, regions were hiring, and what positions were needed, but when HR came along, and made it necessary t go thru them to be hired, or even transferred, MOST of the power that local management had in the actual hiring process was taken away.
I once wanted to transfer from the Rockies, and get back to West Texas, and was willing to take a cut in pay to go from a Service Specialist III to a Service Specialist II, since would have still made more by not being raped by paying Colorado State Income Tax, but was refused because I was "not qualified".
When I was overseas, you could always call International Personnel and find out what countries were looking for people, but when HR became involved, that way went out the window.
NEVER, EVER, forget that HR is YOUR enemy.
The world’s biggest oil services companies – Schlumberger, Haliburton, and Baker Hughes chief among them – spent $3.1B on severance costs in 2015 and 2016. not to mention the additional 3.5 billion baker investment. snicker
ah ha !!! humour ?
ah the punctuation police have arrived at last well done pedant.
First of all, you clowns need to learn punctuation. No 'periods' at end of sentences, no commas, nothing.
Is this a family business or you crawl up your bosses ring piece to much of that there is many staff not to happy with the way they are treated all the threats by bosses is that the way to run business.
I would like a new job within halliburton this being staff relationship manager as that's what's missing so much people unhappy so all you top level board members is it to much for you to ignore what keeps this company going let me remind you the working class
Internal transfer?
It is all about who knows you and who you know.
Pay peanuts get monkeys / let's stop cutting my nails can only take so much.
Hey I worked offshore north sea subbed out to PSL bss I could not believe how unhappy these guys are seems like the down turn has hit these guys for years they have been taken for a joy ride yes I work for halliburton but could not believe how these people are treated and finally the biggest issue they had was why they have to go to houston core crew training and not getting paid for it but every other country's does that not right bad enough guys get $40 a day living costs let's treat people like managers as they could not live on that when is this company going to get a good name as lacking with employe management along with communication
Halliburton and caring in the same sentence ? bahhhh hahhhhh hahhhhh hahhhhhh
Haliburton as a caring company ? say yes i can see where you are going wrong here !
This is an ongoing issue I myself applied for overseas offshore position via halliburton jobs and was ignored even when I asked my manager so that I could apply with my experience but no feed back as the board say they want staff to climb surely Jeff Miller needs to address this concern like his questioner he put out.
If people want to better there self they do it not only for themselves but also family and halliburton as a caring company so let's see changes Jeff Miller and Co let's act on this and finally don't ignore people that want to learn others with in the industry
