There aren't enough students applying or enrolling to support the infrastructure of ANY brand under the EDMC umbrella. If you're currently employed start interviewing for a job NOW while you have a pay check. Don't wait until you get RIF'ed to decide what your next move will be. If you do get laid off expect it to take at least 6 months to find a new job. The severance...if it's even available to you, will not be enough to cover your bills and healthcare while unemployed! Get out while you can. Or enjoy explaining to your next potential employer why you worked for a corrupt school system and didn't leave...

Why don't we all get together and rally? Let's strike together. Students at all AI, South, Argosy and EDMC school system just STRIKE! As a student you won't loose much. Half the programs are slated to loose Title IV (FAFSA) funding anyways. So instead of waiting on the side lines, find another reputable college to go to and end this misery already. By striking you will have a chance to sue EDMC and get your Title IV money back so you can put it to good use at a reputable college.

The stock means nothing. It's been delisted since 2012. The stuff floating around has zero bearing on the company.
@Writingisreallyonthewall, EDMC has been priced at 1 cent for ages. The schools exist only as long as KKR wants them to exist. For 18-20 Art Institutes and 20-something Brown Mackie's, they are expected to close this summer. By closing the schools through "teach out", KKR doesn't get any media attention.
