I have been with UOP for quite a long time. My hopes are to end it with a severance package but I have my doubts.
What are the odds, if they do have layoffs, that anyone would get a severance??

Yes IT was fired then outsourced to a firm which hired a lot of the fired employees back at lower wages and as new employees

Has anyone received an offer of employment? If not everyone must reaply for employment.
I think we will be caned like IT people. Then can be rehired by out source company for less money. Apollo Global needs our cog but wants more in the $11 range. At first I will sign on to have a job while looking for another job. $11 an hour get $11 bucks an hour work, lol .
Hope there is something before the axe drops. But if not, it is not the end of the world. We will move on. Keep positive !!! Wash the Upox off. Lol
I know nothing of this new firm,and if I recall correctly, venture capital firms aren't known for being nice. If there are layoffs, I would hope packages would be given. Unfortunately, your tenure probably won't have a huge impact. Good luck.
Have some heart and just quit if it is that horrible.

It is hard to tell. Apollo Global' s call. Their track record is to give new job titles with less pay.
