Schlumberger did not consider the length of employment, the hard work the person always did, the honesty and loyalty of the employee, or the age. How can someone over 5p compete with younger folks in the job search world. They win let you interview but no call back ever. I am disappointed that Cameron did not care enough for their liyal, hard working, honest employees who spent most of their adu,t life making the world leaders. That still hurts. God knows and He will not forget. Cameron, shame on you.
SII treated employees as real people, SLB treated every employee just as a number, no face, on the computer...
Some advice from me. Learn a trade and open your own business! The employee carousel is not the place to be!
Management mindset...they don't care about employees, pyramid is Revenue first, then Assets (don't destroy them) theeeeeen, People, even-though we are the 85% of SLB.
It depend on which facilities u work at. The location i work at right now is really good and fair. My brother, uncle, cousin, even my neighbor always there to help me. And i get raise every year , u dont have to worry about performance, my family make sure i will have it, so i can get promote before someone else do. Then the new generation of me will begin. :). Ifbu guys want to be in my team please contact me.

Control is so tight from upper management, that it makes doing the job a lot harder
SLB on paper is a good company to work for. It's when you get down to the individual facilities where management is so corrupt and incompetent that you see the problems.
