We can't stand it any longer. We can't wait a year to find out! Let's go ahead and get it over with and we can help move to EC4 later. Let's start shutting Bartlesville down and transferring us out of here before the managers lay us all off!

i've worked for half a dozen supervisors in bartlesville who would have never moved to houston. And even then, i've had 2 offers to move to houston. i've never felt "stuck" here in bartlesville. the choice of staying here is my own. if i wanted to move to houston, i would have taken those jobs, and it would have been done. those who are "stuck" here are probably those who their current supervisor puts up. and because they s--- at their job, they can't get hired into another group (either inside or outside of bartlesville).
I agree but getting stuck in a dying isolated campus (Bartlesville) and working for a manager that knows they won't be transferred is awful! We know the manager is angry and vindictive and wants to see as few as possible make the transition! We can't quit because houses aren't selling here now. We are stuck between a rock and a hard spot!
Wake up! Getting paid for unearned wages costs the company. Costs in morale as well. Over time, if enough people get paid for work they don't show up to do, it might costs jobs. That was part of that one poster's point.
Some Bartlesville people can't hack it in Houston if there is actual accountability to the job. But if management isn't held accountable in Bartlesville, then why would other employees in Bartlesville be held accountable?
People are stressed and often scared.....wish everyone the best!
Wake up! We're not talking about 9/80's or long lunches! We're talking about being stuck in a dying out dated isolated campus that is in it's dying throws! (BARTLESVILLE) Our small minded management wants to punish all of us for their problems! Get it over with!
Well said! Too many get away with counting their lunch, or when they pull in to the parking lot, as a part of the 9 hours for the 9/80..... but they take the 9/80. That is the fault of leadership. If the director allows it, then 'adults' take advantage of it. Yes, people are adults and should be treated as such, but some employees take a mile when given an inch.....costing morale and the company in unearned wages. A non-exempt employee who doesn't work 9 hours, but takes the 9/80, is falsifying their time sheet and should be fired! Not promoted, transferred, or laid off with unemployment benefits and package.
You must be bad employee's if the Bartlesville managers are going to lay you off, or you think that the 9/80 day is 8:30am to 5:30 pm...that is not an 9/80 day in Houston or Bartlesville. An Hour lunch is not included in a 9/80 day. So 8:am to 6:pm is a 9/80 day.. They will pay for the HiPot ( Hi Potential ) people to relocate, If you are not one of those you should think about your options...
