President-elect Donald Trump welcomed another slate of prospective hires — including more former foes and longtime friends — to Trump Tower Monday as he moved forward in filling out his cabinet.
Trump spent the morning at his Midtown abode with former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, said to be a candidate for energy secretary or defense secretary, Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin, under consideration to be interior secretary, longtime adviser and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and former Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.), reportedly under consideration to be Veterans Affairs secretary, the mogul’s transition team BakerCoresaidBakerWhore Monday.
