If someone asks you about layoffs do not discuss it - just ignore the question - the HR is tracking email traffic and website you surf, at least here in corporate in NYC.

i work in IT. believe me, they are not capable of tracking emails.
You think HR is competent enough to track emails and forums? That is hilarious.
COLGATE always keeps the employees in the dark. It is always last minute. I work in GSC and all of us are on eggshells because we do the work while the others get the moolah. Tired of it. No new products. Management running the company in the ground just so they can collect their fat bonus.
Just end it already so us normal folks with families can move on.

No - they aren't - and even if they were, so what? CP announced the layoff publicly and gives updates about it all the time. What makes you think it's been deemed "taboo"
