If you think about things in a rational way (not many people can do that - look at the latest election results), all business problems may lead to job cuts and reductions in Seattle.

What are you hearing lately?
For me, getting canned from JWN was a piece of good luck. I'm better off, and grateful for all that has happened this year.
I have heard that things have settled out, that people and projects are gradually getting back on track. The friends I had there who are still there are involved in useful work, and I think that's great. There are friends, good people, there I miss and admire professionally.
I still shop at the Rack, but without the House 33 I can't see any reason to set foot in a FLS. I guess we will watch the website content for any signs of newer technology under the hood, to give us any hints as to what direction this work is taking.
The real test for Nordstrom will be how it fares in the coming recession. The Donald isn't about to feed the bicoastal elites with free QE and other bling. Expect tech, the bubble FIRE industries, and Beltway .gov flunkies to get tossed into a very hungry wood-chipper. Is the Rack the true future of this company?
