You find that most of the crap on here these days is from those who have already been laid off. Get a grip people and go find something better to with your time, instead of trying to pull off scare tactics for the others.
The industry has levelled out, and will slowly come back. Yes we will adjust our head count with activity but we always have done.
We as an organisation are much leaner and more efficient as a result of this down turn. We will constantly adjust to the market but will most likely never take you back, you were let go as you were surplus to requirements. We are managing fine without you.
Those who are lucky enough to still be here , hold your head up high. You made it this far, it's an achievement in itself!
