Genesis keeps laying folks off, but at the wrong level. Regional Vice Presidents stay on, despite causing the sinking ship, while Area Directors are let go. Recently they laid off their highest performing Area Director and now watching that Area decline rapidly. Its sad to see this happening. Customers are dropping them left and right.
More layoffs coming....selling centers. The ship is sinking.

Worst company I have ever worked for. It's lawsuit waiting to happen. Managers drink, people laid off, worst company I have ever ever worked for and I am a professional with a masters degree .
The company is being mismanaged. They have cut benefits of facility employees taking away 2 holidays, 1 personal day (1 left), no raises for 2017, and have now cut hours by 25% for non clinical staff. It keeps getting worse and worse there. They are in the process of switching the dietary department to the housekeeping services. That will be a disaster waiting to happen. If they don't get their head out of their a-- soon the company will go down.

I was laid off worked 16 years there!!
Laid off with no warning. Hired people knowing a layoff coming and didn't try to position current employees into those roles. Now employees with many years at Genesis laid off and a new employees taking a job they could have had. Genesis obviously does not value their employees.
