He couldn't fix Staples, and helped run it into the ground..... I don't get this move unless B&N is trying to fail. There had to be better candidates out there.... this guy is just looking for another cash grab from a distressed retailer, he won't be looking to improving operations.
His golden parachute from Staples was not large enough so he will look to take away money from store ops and reroute it to executives pockets.
