Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

Engage to excel

Management is scared to share results of Engage to Excel.

Seems as if people have given true opinion.

Schlumberger has realized that this survey is such a big task and can only be achieved with 2 pillars of the company:

1 - keep employees in dark. No communication.

2 - tickbox exercise

the survey was to gauge the work force on attitude so they know who to layoff in Q1 2017

No announcement by management.

Schlumberger does not believe in giving status updates or making any form of communication

Schlumberger management is totally bonus focused which is understandable with 10-20%+ payments shelled out for ' projects' of debatable use. They a re also incapable of making contentious decisions which could affect their career paths.

Any company which has good management should never have to pay vast sums to a third-party bunch of pollsters when these questions would never need to be asked or what is the point of employing clueless managers.
