Cutting the water, really?

In the scope of things, how much does that water cost the freaking company? Maybe they shouldn't have bought DEQ! I bet the power hungry mongers at the top of the food chain are still getting their bonuses! I hope those greedy people get theirs now cause they will get nothing in the end!

Very common. I was at a company for a decade and a half and then they cut the free bottled water, coffee, company picnic, all bonuses and wiped out the PLT accruals then started cutting pay and when all that didn't work they reduced the head count. And then they were bought out by a private equity firm. And where are they now? Almost out of business. The moral of the story is get out while you can and while there may still be some opportunities left in the market before it floods with your "synergized" brethren. It's doubtful things will get better. At least not with $8B in debt hanging in the air. The only winners were shareholders who received a taste of the billions that the company spent (or borrowed) acquiring Bally, Shufflemaster, WMS etc...
