Tens of millions? Add a zero to that figure!

Only a company like SLB would move an entire plant and spend tens of millions just so it will be closer to a half dozen or so bit designers.

Much of the production has been moved to Italy (no surprise there). Very few people are going to Houston. Management is trying to how to make this all work with a minimum of downtime. Not possible. Loss of market share is a certainty. If you've always driven a Cadillac and can't get one, you'll probably buy another brand and never go back. And so it goes......

How much non productive time has been caused by this miscalculated decision.

Loss of efficiency, motivation and productivity

Will the genius who decided on the move and misjudged it face the consequences? Thought not. It has been the same with all such moves. Bunch of muppets!

The move has been postponed until November 28. Looks lik it's going to take a lot longer and cost a lot more than anticipated.
