Biggestmistakeinlifebyafool - it seems you were totally suited to Cisco - you cannot string a sentence together, definitely not a native English speaker. You should have fit right in. Now translate all of the bollocks you wrote into a nice PowerPoint and you will be G12 in no time.
I joined Sysco with low grade and was happy for 6 months then one of my colleague told me u must have joined as G6 not 4 then I got to know how i was wrongly hired with low grade G4 and low salary having 4 yrs exp. Even I had less knowledge in networking and i was never showing interest in hardwork. very bad.
but took lot of tension and compare myself others and fought with mgmt but in g6 only after 7 yrs.
i lost hair, health, lot of diseases came and no happy in life. not getting job outside and waiting for lay off so some amount i can get and start business. here people who are very bad non tenchnical than me are in g10 g8 g11 who doesnot know how IP traffic works also. Luck favours

Nowadays mgrs are actual culprits politics man. grade salary doesnot give anything.

The work itself is fun, but as management decimates teams, they expect the remaining people to pickup the slack and continue to deliver. If you have to work with a team that's been decimated, don't expect them to joyfully and happily support you at the same level they did before the LR.
Morale is hitting new lows and it's not proven that "limited" restructuring is now an annual event and smaller "fat cutting" will occur every quarter somewhere in the shadows where they hope no one is looking.
