Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Kmart Q4.

Kmart has severely over purchased Christmas seasonal merchandise when you take into account the number of stores they are still operating and declining sales trends. Look for deep, deep discounts and major margin erosion. The end is near.

Clearance is the only way kmart can sell anything anymore. In the last year our store has declined to a point I never could have thought possible in such a short time. Time for a serious job hunt.

You keep plugging away as SHLD keeps taking more and more from you. How is your stress level these days, how is your blood pressure, how much time are you spending with your family, how many raises have you gotten lately or ever, how many years have you wasted on a company that does not care about you or your future. Plug on my friend, hope it works out

If the end is not near please tell me how many kmarts closed this year alone?

And what exactly constitutes as winning when the company hasn't turned a profit for how many years?

The writing is on the wall and if you can't see it I'm truly sorry, honestly, because those that don't realize what is happening are going to be left scrambling when it comes crashing down
