Call the Federal Trade Commission Consumer Protection Depart

Report how many Referrals you Have to get before a Write up/Discussion Memo. Call the FTC and tell them how many REGS you have to make. Tell them how they take you into conference room and talk to you about the numbers but then deny it in public.

FTC is suppose to be investigating this 'place'...on their business practices. One point would be how often the Stop on Demand (recording of phone calls software) works. How often it works? Constant technical issues with this software. Finance is suppose to turn off recording of phone calls, when a student is sharing credit card information, so DQSS or other unauthorized personnel listen to the phone calls. Complained to tech support (ticket numbers?) and to managers, nothing. So how safe is confidential information at UOP? Would you give them your cc info over the phone? Can they go after veterans 6 months to a year after a balance appears and blame it on the Dept of VA? No consistency in charging Veterans for dropped classes and how the VA pays or doesn't pay for dropped or failed classes or how VA money is handled? Debt letters and trying to collect from VA students, no consistent process in place and processes change every time you got a new manager. FTC looks at these type of business practices, UOP delayed in giving FTC the documentation they asked for until FTC had to get court to order UOP to hand over necessary documentation for their investigation. Hiding much?

If you dont hit quotas you get fired so the reward is getting money (other benefits like insurance etc.) your STUPID if you believe UOP doesnt care about the numbers and the REGS. Thats the whole basis to their pay scale.

Your're allowed to be given a quota or expectations to achieve, you just cant be compensated extra for actually hitting said quota or expectation. So if a boss is telling you to hit a certain number, but regardless, you are paid the same, there is nothing wrong with that. DOE only cares if you were given bonus for reaching goals. That went away, but your boss can still tell you to do whatever they set as expectations.

Our manager should have to call our desk for a one on one's. This way the company is recording them for training purposes. If they need to show us numbers they are welcome to use go to assist.

I secretly recorded my fat manager telling me to make quota. I sent the audio to someone at DOE.

Enrollment managers dont talk to students. They dont help with student issues or academic issues or finance issues. They dont help handle and student based problems at all. Enrollment managers are there to make sure that reps always be closing. And they make sure to cover any tracks of the discussion of our quotas. Ive been a rep for 3 years I have been threatened enough. Everytime I tell my manager that I thought it was no longer about the numbers he smirks and tells me it will always be about numbers. So tired of their $hit and the unethical bull.

https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ Its all about how many Regs and Referrals you have. How the hell the FTC and the Department of Ed let it keep going is beyond me!

Is anyone willing to go to a meeting with a (hidden) recorder?

Don't forget about the flag recognition that enrollment has monthly. It's all about numbers and aggressive recruiting encouraged by the unskilled managers who were part of the old matrix who do not understand a darn thing of today's economy

Wow, tooks the words right out of my mouth. I thought numbers and quotas are a no no. Now it's college average and team average. You have to be at that level. I feel like numbers are crammed down my that on a daily bases. There is so much pressure to enroll, doesn't matter that it's the slow time of the year. I wish the ftc would record all our conversation between staff and mangers. I bet our conversations would go back to being student focused. Which is what we are supposed to be doing and most of us are trying our best. So done with this bipolar company. Also I see people posting about the DOE cutting off our funding next year. Where are you getting this information? Would this be due to our gainful employement? If this is truly the case. Polish up your resume.

When did they start having private meetings with employees in the conference rooms when they were admonishing employees (one on ones)? All previous managers would do this at their desks with other employees sitting around for the world to hear your manager going over an employee's 'shortcomings'. Real EEOC type of process. I swear the one on ones were recorded because the CWEBs were so word for word and the manager was not typing that fast or taking notes. But CWEBs never reflected the manager's part of the one on ones....when an employee would point out a manager's shortcoming. At one point employee's could enter their own comments into CWEBs and they weren't called insubordinate for not acknowledging a CWEB that that the employee did not agree with as it was inaccurate. How long is it going to take FTC to investigate UOP? Step it up a notch already.
