FTC is suppose to be investigating this 'place'...on their business practices. One point would be how often the Stop on Demand (recording of phone calls software) works. How often it works? Constant technical issues with this software. Finance is suppose to turn off recording of phone calls, when a student is sharing credit card information, so DQSS or other unauthorized personnel listen to the phone calls. Complained to tech support (ticket numbers?) and to managers, nothing. So how safe is confidential information at UOP? Would you give them your cc info over the phone? Can they go after veterans 6 months to a year after a balance appears and blame it on the Dept of VA? No consistency in charging Veterans for dropped classes and how the VA pays or doesn't pay for dropped or failed classes or how VA money is handled? Debt letters and trying to collect from VA students, no consistent process in place and processes change every time you got a new manager. FTC looks at these type of business practices, UOP delayed in giving FTC the documentation they asked for until FTC had to get court to order UOP to hand over necessary documentation for their investigation. Hiding much?
