First, please let me say I am sorry for all of those Noble employees and contractors who have lost their jobs in the past two years. Without doubt we have lost some real talented people. It is easy to lay blame and point fingers, what is harder is to accept the state our industry has been in the past couple of years. This is not any one persons fault, nor is Noble the only company having to adjust its staff and the way it operates and as commodity prices have fallen. If we are honest with one another this is a result of many people and companies doing too good of a job. Not that long ago the so called experts were concerned we facing a gas shortage, now we have more gas than we can use.
Although I am disappointed not to betting a pay increase AGAIN, if truth be told I am happy with my job at Noble. I respect my direct supervisor and have a lot of respect for my colleagues. And although I may not fully understand every decision the exec's make I try to give them the benefit of the doubt.
For those of you that have been laid off and the trolls from other companies it's time to stop the hyperbole and come together as one united people.
