HR called us into a conference room. 3 techs, and our 2 supervisors. 3 layoffs, and 1 person who was off and couldn't make it in to be let go. We all got a severance. Health insurance good until the end of the month.
Paid through today, the end of the pay cycle.
Yep about 15 mins. Walked back to our office with cubes, all grabbed our stuff and surrenderred our Ids.

When you say 'Lottery" do you mean Pull Tabs, scratches etc or do you mean lottery video division IE NY and WA slot jurisdictions?
I was dropped, a co-worker of mine that was also dropped was informed likely "Interactive" and "Lottery" portions of the business would be sold off due to recent rumors. Can anyone confirm if they are honoring the 2 weeks per years of service severance as they did last layoff?
They did crush morale in my 11 person team - It's bad but I hope we bounce back
I had a friend just offered a job by the management that was let go, if this keeps happening, how to they expect the team morale to stand strong?
How have the severance packages been? one week or two weeks per year?
I'm currently still working for this company, but these kind of layoffs always make us worry. It makes me think they are about to start selling parts of the company piece by piece.
