Layoff Package

is it the standard 60 day severance pay with 1 week/year and a max of 10 weeks?

In the last layoff (March 2016) the severance was 2-weeks per year of employment... Not sure if there was a max of 12 weeks then.

And then, of course whatever vacation pay you have accrued, so there's your 6 months. For those who have been with NetApp forever, that is.

~60 days as "Non-working NetApp Employee".. which means you get paid, bennies and accrue leave.. but you do not touch NetApp internal resources, customers, IP, etc. Then ONE week severance pay per year served - up to 12 weeks. Pretty standard.

Isn't 12 weeks 3 months? So + 60 days would be 5 months max.

Correction - up to 12 weeks. One laid-off friend got the full 6 months - the 60 days + the severance. He'll be OK, everyone will in the very short term.
