Our activity on this board has seemingly lessened upon entering the competition for 3 and 4 place service company. I for one will work harder than i ever have and will do the job of any three of you.

head count way to high but who is going to cut the most underperforming bits of the company after pouring billions into a white elephant, that shall remain unnamed but rhymes with general door !
Quiet is good
So, do you think our newly acquired status (market rating) justifies our current headcount? Or perhaps cause a problem down the road?
the reality is we are going to end up as the 3rd company due to an ill concieved plan from a bunch of self absorbed numb nuts that believe the crap they dream up, so excuse those of us who do not have any power or recourse other than to make sarcastic comments through media such as this. nobody wants to be working for a company with no ambition but working fot a company that constantly sprouts hyperboli about WE are the execution company ! yes if by execution you mean cutting workforce while maintaing a useless layer of non productive leeches who constantly dream up ways to slow you down but make it look like they are required. roll on the upturn so we can all move on and leave these people to get on with there vision for the big red.
Interesting that some one would be proud to be falling to #3 or #4 place in their business AND that they are going to work even harder now. If you work harder, you may get to #5 or #6 the way things are going. Apparently you are blind as a bat concerning what is right in front of you.

Oh yes, rainbow is my first choice. it's so hard to find colors that complement pink correctly. besides pink highlights mud and grease stains. the red overalls have turned my underwear pink in the wash.
Time will only tell, IF you can 'outwork' three of those who built the company and established its reputation as THE BEST out there, BUT thanks to YOUR contemporaries, YOUR company has managed to place itself in THE NUMBER THREE position in oil field services.
More importantly, if given the choice, would you prefer to wear pink, or rainbow colored coveralls?
