Wonder what the employee town hall will reflect...earnings not at plan,, "oh it will be better in the 4thQ you'll see!" attitude...sure.. and 2017 will be a record setter..haha not happening. We are all doom. Hopefully they wont layoff any more right now, Christmas is too close. At least wait till next year.

Recently left this company because of its politics, lies and backstabbing. Some people will be rude and mean to create an environment that kill your soul. Don't compromise your morals , there are plenty of jobs available
Tom's newsletter made it look like the company is growing the workforce now and in 2017. That's good at least. Maybe for 2017 they won't set unrealistic growth expectations that tank the stock.
It's turning into an Indian company, Indians being sponsored to the US in Director and above position, and hiring mostly Indians below them. Why? Etihad likes to work with Indians they don't like to work with Americans. We are not allowed to say Merry Christmas and there is no company Christmas party like other big US companies. It's just a matter of time. Christmas vacation is not respected if Etihad doesn't want it to be...remember their implementation they forced us to be on calls on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.
Sabre is a US company. Its in India or Poland because the talent there comes at half the price.
Sabre is a Top Heavy company, lots of bench warmer Managers, Directors, VPs. Who do nothing but add each other to email chains and waste others calling senseless meetings. Cutting them might be "two birds with one stone" . It would balance the budget and hopefully give the company right direction if they cut the right people (Mangers who are managers thanks to friends, Directors who are Directors thanks to their buddy VP. This is not just Indians, just look around)

Sabre pays respects to even US pagan ritual, Halloween. Haunted house, trashy decor and mucus corn syrup candy all cost money.
About Christmas, don't you see the out place Tree every year. If you are at an early stage Alzheimers please wait for couple of weeks, you could see a Gaint Tree, slowing down work and free parking spaces.
150 contractors in India are laid off in Bangalore office. What outsourcing are you talking about ? It's same for US and Indian employees. When they want to reduce the workforce they will do at any cost, So don't say you guys are losing jobs coz of outsourcing to India. That's not true.
It is a largely Indian company. Pay no mind to respecting Christmas time, they will probably lay off and outsource more to Bangalore.
