I did 10 Reg's my last 3 months before I was fired !! I got fired for making a simple mistake. Have you heard or do you think Enrollment Manager's were trying to find reasons to write-up and/or fire Enrollment Advisor's so they don't have to pay a huge severance, and it is not public info if they do this versus a layoff ?? Share your thoughts? My mgr was an a--hole the last 2 mths so to me it was a huge red flag that his attitude has changed, and in my one on one's he was harassing me about the littlest things like missing an appointment with a student,etc. That is what I get for making them about $ 40,000 a month in sales or Reg's !! Has anyone had the same experience or situation? Has your mgr been harassing you in your one on one's?

UOP isnt selective, and neither were you. Government got tired of paying back the defaults, so UOP is dead. Add in the boiler room environment and you have a much needed and long overdue crackdown on a slimy telemarketing scam. "Regs" and "TE" are meaningless, too bad it took the current state of affairs to bring those facts to light. Like any product, if it is crap, it' eventually dies out. Damage done, brand destroyed, no hope of turnaround...Move on.
The last comment must be coming from a dumb a-- over paid Enrollment Manager or Director or upper executive . I enrolled quality students because of the college I enrolled for and these students were more serious than most of the other colleges. I was selective who I enrolled because I cared. What ruined Univ of Phoenix is that there was no competition and they were and still are way over priced ! They need to fire some of these Enrollment Manager's because they are not doing anything to increase enrollments...period !!! They don't need 1 manager in charge of 8-10 Advisor's.....period. One Enrollment Manager can manage 20 people. Reg's are sales to the company and they need to take care of the more experienced Enrollment Advisor's who are making U of PX money...instead I really think they are trying to find reasons to fire them ! I was fired and I did 10 Reg's per month. So, when other employees are laid off they need to blame top management not the Enrollment Advisor's !! Enrollment Managers and Directors did not complain when they got their bonus and/or annual pay raise a few years ago ! lol
God, another brainwashed Phoenix who, even after watching this company meltdown, STILL believes it is enrollment that makes the company money. Here is a little fact for all you wittle overpaid telemarketers: Enrollment is what DESTROYED UOP. UOP failed because of its enrollment only attitude and it's short sighted thinking. What makes a company work is quality of product and branding, not "asses in classes". UOP suceeded only for a short period of time due to being the only online option. As soon as competition entered, it crashed HARD. For telemarketers complaining today, STFU. Telemarketers at UOP are simply realizing the economic reality that UOP is dead and nothing will bring it back.
All the posts below must be from stupid managers. Students forget appointments all the time. One appointment should not be grounds for termination but this a real comapny. Call.the FTC, DOE and the EEOC and report all the unethical, unscrupulous, noncompliant b---s--- your piece of.crap manager forces you to do.
10 REGs total for 3 months aka 3.33 Regs per month is why you were fired. That is not bringing in 40k a month. You probably had behavior issues as well.

It must be current employees hired in a dept to post such stupid comments to combat the real truth of what is going on ! Get a real job and work at Taco Bell at the drive-thru.....morons ! If it wasn't for this Enrollment Adviser making Univ of Phoenix so much money....you wouldn't have a job !
