Why do posts disappear? Quite a few posts disappear for no obvious reason. Not the end of the world but I am curious.

Yep, you are right! Bartlesville is still awful and needs to be shut down!
Looks like he is still hanging around
@KOeteq7-1gwe did it again, but in a much more subtle way this time. The comment is still a dig to hurt people. Supporting colleagues is a good thing, but constantly saying an entire town isn't worth having as a part of the company is showing a side of the company that is disgusting.
Two threads were removed because one came out promoting Bartlesville and the next against Bartlesville and both ended up showing how bad and unneeded Bartlesville is.
I've been on this site for two years, they nuke threads all the time. You can read the rules but this is what I observed (htings that get you banned/deleted): Foul language, trolling, mentioning names or initials - they seem to be OK with public figures (eg executives and politicians), heated political posts both left or right, inflammatory language (xyz about Indians, etc.), etc. This feels like a PG13 site to me, so, slightly mischievous but you cannot push it too much...
I hate it, but at the same time I get what they are trying to do. They are operating an anonymous posting site and there has to be some order order otherwise it'd be a free for all and soon we'd be drawing in slur and troll junk...
Anyone who posts things suggesting that others should lose their job should be banned. That type of rhetoric shines a very negative light on COP, not to mention the internal harm it could do.
I got banned few months ago for naming a coworker, wasn't even bashing her or anything like that, site admins nuked all I ever written and blocked my IP. So I checked site rules at the footer of the page. In short, no name naming, trolling, bulling, nor using foul language.
Be careful what you post about Bartlesville!
