I 've been @ Kmart for 16 yrs and she is making $2 an hr more with a raise close by. I was so glad for her but why AM I STILL HERE. I hate everyday now. did not use to be this way.

So lets put this into perspective. At $2 more an hour over 8 years (half of your Kmart career), if you worked an average of 25 hours a week X (times) 50 weeks a year (two weeks vacation no pay) X (times) eight years at $2. = $20,000 you have lost working here. Is it worth it? What could you have done with $20,000 (before taxes of course)? How much better would your life be with $20,000? Now you are starting to get it
Did you ask her to put in a word where she is working?
