Reminiscent of the VP of HR in 2015, the VP of Corp Strategy disappeared today. There was never an explanation on the VP HR exit. Anyone know about this one? As the site says...Comment! It's Anonymous!

HR VP gone because she made the
mistake of speaking truth to power. ELT preferred doing same old ##** and guess where it got us. Wish she was still here and rest of ELT was gone

Once JJM left, her aircover was gone. She was just another grade 17 who got promoted because an executive liked having her around. In the end, it was just sad.
That makes a lot of sense. She acted like every decision was a struggle.
Her only champion was JJM and he did not like people with opinions, just people who could follows orders. Once he was gone, her departure was inevitable....
Ok, I have to jump in here. I thought she was fine even if being decisive or technically strong were not her strong points. Some people think differently than others and I think those times when we faced a challenge and she seemed to not be able to add anything to the conversation was just her being contemplative. I'm sure inside her head she had something to say.
I don't know what the ELT saw in her anyway. Having seen her in action first hand, she appeared to be overwhelmed with even the day to day decisions. At least they put a good team around her but in the end even that crutch couldn't prop her up any longer.
It wasn't an elegant exit with nice announcement and going away/retirement party - so there must have some sort of urgent trigger.
Would a white male of FV's talent and performance have risen so high in the company? No way, Jose. The ELT has an exalted view of their talent. Legends in their own minds. None of them invented anything or can point to a great strategic decision that they made. Through a variety of smarmy paths and dumb luck they made it into the club and think they are special people who can make up special rules for themselves (and their kids that they get as interns and then jobs) and live large in new jets. If FV quit because she thinks she should have a Chief job, well - she can prove us wrong by getting and keeping such a job. Wonder if the Trump effect extends to eliminating diversity quotas?
This may be the only place people are actually talking about her. I'm not sure anyone even noticed she was gone.
The only person who thinks FV is awesome is FV. Maybe she should go get a job and stop posting about herself on this board. Or maybe she's bored.

Not sure why it's such a mystery why the VP HR was let go. Go look at her track record - doesn't last anywhere very long. She's already been fired again from the gig she got after COP. The real mystery is why she was hired in the first place. Another epic fail of the ELT.
That's 2 VPs and 2 corporate managers that have been disappeared with zero explanation. Mgmt acts like they never existed. One isn't allowed to mention their names in the office or refer to the fact they once existed.
We heard FV was let go. That was a shocker. Maybe not considering two of her direct reports were suddenly let go just a couple months ago. Something rotten in that apple basket. FV will not be missed.
