They laid off or benched nearly 20,000 people globally today. 20 in my company. The handwriting has been on the wall since 2Q. We opened 2 additional offices and staffed up in a frenzy of hiring in anticipation of new business. Who the heck does that? In addition to no new business, the existing business was slack, even in 4Q which is generally crazy busy. The global scale of incompetence and its consequence on so many people is mind-boggling And this is just the beginning. It's happened so many times in my career, but this one tops them all.

In India offices the tamil gangs have started targeting non tamils in chennai, coimbatore and hyderabad office.
Report to TJAC and Telangana government IT minister if local employees are laid off instead of tamils in hyderabad.
They have benched almost 50% non tamils in chennai and coimbatore
Saw a few job postings on indeed (toronto area), after reading this seems like the company is like most other big box firms, layoffs galore. Ill stick to private sectors
