Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

GE And Baker Hughes To Create No. 2 Oilfield Services Provider

Just think that under Uncle Dave's inspired 'leadership', Halliburton has went from the NUMBER ONE name in the oilfield services business, (especially in pumping services and downhole tools), to the NUMBER THREE position.

But not to worry, the NUMBER FOUR position is up for grabs, given the FACT that Halliburton continues to ride on its past reputation, and that BOTH Basic and Weatherford have higher customer satisfaction metrics than does Halliburton.

New uniform patches saying "WE'RE #3" will soon be issued and will be mandatory to wear.

GE needed that 3.5 billion to get into the services business. High barriers to entry!

Way to go Uncle Dave! GE/Baker will just be another place for HAL employees to defect to and get better jobs.
