I'm just curious to know how many people in both Sidney and here in the stores are going to hold out and see what happens in the Spring, or who has already started looking for new jobs?

Trying to look for a new job. My morale is getting low at my store. After all these years and still getting treated like dirt even though I am competent at my job. I want to blame the managers for the stress and BS that is going down but ultimately I find it is me and the fact I am tired of dealing with same old same old. Corporate treats us like garbage in general. This is a job for people who can handle abuse.
Unfortunately staying
As soon as the discounts change, I'm gone. Hope we get a little notice though.

Not much time left for me. The store where I have been at for a good number of years has a darkness to it now. Between the management being condescending and customers being crude and jerks, I have to throw in the towel. I just don't get a good feeling about this place at all anymore. Now it will be Bass Pro's baby to tinker with and call the shots. All these years working here for what? To make some insiders wealthy? What a waste of my life working here.
If I could have it my way I would offer myself and family to leave Sidney and find something elsewhere in return for those who lived here all of their lives to stay and continue work and live life as usual. I feel so bad for what these people and families will be going through. Prayers for all affected.
Everyone in my dept. Including myself are looking for other jobs and hoping to get out of this h*ll hole. Some don 't even care if their homes sell. Thank goodness I rent! It is not worth it if you have to go to work every day worried if you will still have a job or not! And tired of all the lies they are feeding everyone.
In the process of getting out of my apartment lease. Found a new job and moving shortly. Definitely not worth it to worry each day coming into work like this...
Renting out a home here. Sticking it out for the most part. Also Browsing/applying to jobs on the side when seeing something worthwhile. Whether we stay, go, relocate, etc. doesn't matter to us. It's not like we were born and raised and have families here anyway. Hell, we're ready to relocate to Springfield, MO now. At least there will be more things to do and things will be close by. I cannot wait for the day ha!
