Finally someone speaks the truth!
To the poster that said 'stop saying b---s---, those were true statements and why I came over to NetApp. But Kurian has made the decision to sacrifice the old NA for just another meat grinder of a company that only pays top dollar to those at the top. They are systematically replacing older workers with fewer, younger people who are just glad to be earning enough to get out of mom's basement and have the latest iPhone/iPad devices and multiple game systems under their 40" home theatre screens. Ignorance is bliss!

TL:DR - GPTW sells HR consulting services.
GPTW is independent.
It is random testing and a statistically valid sample is queried. Each employee who receives a questionnaire has the option to participate or not. Lack of participation by the sample size is an indicator of engagement.
Each country is independently evaluated by GPTW.
NetApp does (as most companies of any size) have resources that put the essay portion of the submission together.
Best in world scores are a compilation of all scores received around the world over the last year.
Stop saying b---s--- in this site. Every single Netapp employee that was forced to leave or voluntarily left the company knows REALLY WELL that no matter the size or the name of the company that they interviewed with or they currently work; No company or maybe just a few can match the salary and benefits of Netapp along with the fact that you work in a relaxed NOT ball busting environment. If you have and want to maintain a FAMILY Netapp is still one of the places to work for. Enough said.
There is a position (or at least there used to be) to maintain GPTW. I also suspect NetApp asked to be taken off the US list since it was released the same week as the layoffs in March. I also don't know how 'random' the suveys are. I am also really suprised they ranked this high in the WORLD with persistent layoffs. There has to be some PR pulling the strings.
is it really paid? many of the benefits listed in that page including MTS4 salary and other benefits are accurate. it cannot be all hogwash....
