Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

Probably

Wouldn't hurt my feelings if COP sold out or sold our asset. Kind of over it

Problem is nobody wants Bartlesville office space so just shut it down!

A new owner?? Please tell me know that COP is publicly traded and owned by shareholders. I think you mean new leadership...and yes, I think perhaps the current leadership are the only people to whom that isn't readily apparent. Clean sweep of the whole ELT, none of whom have been capable of executing the real changes required, followed by a revamp of the board. All sorely needed.

All hopes for cop being a company of ethics and integrity, free of prejudice are gone. A new owner would be a last chance at saving morale.

The SJBU should take a note from their neighbours to the north and just not report incidents. DT and the gang at Surmont had a good method for people encouraged not to report incidents. That way your TIR will be low and you can BS the rest of the BUs how great you are in your performance.

They are all a bunch of crying pussies. They don't do sh-- all day because they are lazy but expect a big VCIP. Blaming SJBU is just an excuse for lazy entitled behavior. I hope they sell every damn asset and clean house. Bunch of sh-- bags!

Oh thank you San Juan sooooo much for contributing all of your injuries to our VCIP tally. For as together as you say your sh-- is I seem to hear about all the injuries and spills coming from you guys.

Oh, boo hoo little children! Never been through a bust before! Things get tough and companies have to make hard decisions. Any oil business times are good and times are bad you just have to learn to take both in stride!

Because COP is running itself into the ground and if you 2 were actually employees and not sad trolls then you would understand...sjbu is a constant cash flow positive asset but treated like the red headed step child. We would run much better if owned by an independent.

The only losers are those who still believe in what is left of COP ... Used to be a great company...Not anymore ;-(

our asset makes no money. We try to cut costs but it is just too expensive. At some point I just want to transfer somewhere. Whether it is in COP or for a different company, I'll make this happen in the next six months.

I agree the OP is a loser. Why would anyone want to be bought by another company?
