I wonder why they hold off on doing the $5 club card commissions whereas they used to offer them very often. If I knew I could look forward to a $5 commission all the time and not just some blue moon occasions, I'd seriously set records for referrals. The cynical side of me says that they would be afraid of hourly employees pulling in bigger paychecks than the salaried department managers as a consequence. I mean, if they really wanted customers to get the club card, why kill the incentive for employees to really have any self-interest in going for it? Instead we get a bone thrown to us in form of free lunch voucher or some fudge or a local restaurant gift card. Total BS. Make the commissions $5 all the time.

Shush don't give them any ideas. It's sad how serious I am writing this because the upper management is such a joke.
