I spent 20 years in B-ville and I can assure you that all the terms you used to describe Houston are equally true about Bartlesville, the one difference being that there was more collaboration between relatives and family members who worked together. That part worked just fine. My last team there had two cousins working for their uncle. Weird.

I think the responses to the Bartlesville team over the past months have been disgusting. Regardless of one team's contributions or not, the attacks on Bartlesville have been the perfect display of the Houston office feeling they are superior to all others. My experience in Houston was that the groups displayed no collaboration or team effort, every man for himself, throw everyone possible under the bus. Nice group, the Houston office, why in the world do you feel superior? Shame on everyone that posts such nasty comments about any aspect of the company to try to preserve your own office or group, although most posts are probably out of fear. You will succeed together or fail together, your choice.
My guess is that we are either selling some big assets, closing an office, or merging.
