Might as well put it out there so when they buy APC they know we are willing to do things the "Exxon way" because once they buy they will cut all of the overlap between the 2 companies so the time is now to welcome them!

This reminds me of that scene in the blockbuster film Independence Day (The Day We Fight Back!) when all those hippies and morons are on top of that huge building with signs like "welcome, we love you aliens" and "show us your wisdom" and the aliens are like "OK, cool" and they fire up their bigass lasers and blow up everything. Same old wishful thinking. Seems APC has too much debt now. A buyer has to payoff bonds and loans and it makes APC an ugly pig.
