So many people out of a job with no income coming in, yet they keep that old woman employed because she is an icon... the only employee to never get laid off by Halliburton.

This is so true, WE WORKED with the people who had built the company AND its REPUTATION, that the worthless f---s who now infest, 'manage', and control the company are succeeding in running into the ground.
It is strange how the LEADERSHIP who, for the most part, came out of the field, built up the company into a multi-billion dollar, world-class operation, that dominated almost every aspect of the service industry, yet now, the little piss ant 'managers' are struggling desperately to hold on to every bit of business that they have, BECAUSE THE COMPETITION EXCELS IN ALMOST EVERY SERVICE LINE that they and Halliburton both offer.
"When I went to work for Halliburton in the 70's there were a lot of icons that knew what was going on and the company cared about their employees and longevity ment something to all.
With the introduction of asset management that all went away. People are now just part numbers to plug and play and management doesn't even know who does what other than the routine tasks which can cause big problems but I was one of the part numbers that wasn't needed"
PHUCK THE NEW HALLIBURTON, with its emphasis on 'diversity', HR, 'competency 'training' (instead of hard won experience, and ALL the other politically correct b---s--- that now passes as getting the job done.
