Employees were lied to just as effectively as students were lied to by this 'company'. Also employees were pressured to be students as part of all this greed and deception. Having UOP on a resume or diploma is an incredible loss as this brand is so damaged. Giving huge severance to executives as part of a buy-out is greed at it's best. So sad. Moving away from this negativity is the thing to do, but it's hard to explain the job experience and diploma. Many employees did so much to remain ethical and fight the unethical montra that came from management. That is why many long-term employees got fired...because they would not continue to dance their dance. Pull the plug on this place.

Agreed with a comment read here. I also feel like my entire life is on hold because UOP. I don't want to be ungrateful but, I want to be out of here NOW!!!
I have decided to leave. I feel so much better. No anger. No more working in confusion waiting to see if the sale goes through. Act instead of being acted upon.
Well, to give you even more of an empty feeling and pain from lower spine up to your neck, having Apollo or University of Phoenix as your current employer on your resume is a liability when it comes to finding a new job. Please remember to thank the sr. executives as they walk way with millions and don't care at all what happens to you.
I get this feeling like management knows something. I sit in my chair and have this empty feeling. I feel anxious at the base of my spine all the way up my back and neck. The stress gives me micro heart attacks all day. I'm afraid to make major purchases or any life decisions because this could be my last paycheck. My life is on hold. I have given too many years here to not be stuck in the same position. I'm embarrassed to tell others where I work.
It will probably happen, but not until the buyout happens. I couldnt imagine Vanguard, Apollo Global or whoever is buying us, would purchase us after alayoff. The new owner will more than likely clean house themselves.
Since enrollment is STILL the largest line item in the budget, it would be certain to be the first cut in the event of more layoffs.
All of you bloodsuckers deserve to be laid off. UOP, DeVry, and ITT employees have enslaved multitudes to debt for life and gave a worthless piece of paper in turn. Get ready to enjoy a life of misery like the rest of us.
