I was let go from Grainger about 3 years ago. They said they were letting me go because my time card was wrong 3 times in about a three month period. I worked there almost 10 years period then suddenly my time card was wrong? Now I know for sure the management didn't like me or at least one of them. He purposely changed my timecard. I took pictures of my timecard every Friday. They said that wasn't good enough that I could go in and change it afterwards. They are such liars and cheats and will do anything to save their asses. I know however that Karma will kick their asses and they will get theirs. Do you know that we had to sit in 1960 desks. They would not buy his chairs that were organ on Maclay correct to sit in for over 7 hours a day? They said it wasn't in the budget. Now on top of this I was one of the top sales people at the branch. Winning or receiving Awards to prove it. What's wrong with this company? At one time I thought it was the best company in the world to work for. Instead of caring about the people that work for them and did all the work to make them the best. They turn on them and let them go. I hope the top people go and I hope Karma kicks their a-- to the curb. They are older now much older and it's going to be tougher for them to get in and work somewhere because they're old. I can't stand this place and I hope that people read these and decide to go to other places like Fastenal or even Home Depot. Don't place your order with Grainger!

The ignorance of this Company knows no limits. After their call center agents have the experience taking nationwide calls they chuck that idea and move to Arizona - closer to Panama I guess. It's all about money and they could care less about their employees.
they are laying off about 900 people nationwide,
It is sad Grainger is laying off experience , knowlegable people who helped get hem where they are today. So that they can hire people at half the wages and no benefits.
Grainger says they care about their employees but actions speak louder than words.
