I'm fortunate to teach at a public tax supported community college where we recognize the importance of keeping faculty in charge of meeting the institution's educational goals. In a rare move and one I have only done a few times, I sent the following email out to my faculty colleagues:
With all that we have been hearing relative to the demise of ITT Tech and challenges facing other "For Profit" colleges, I would encourage you to view the PBS presentation that was aired today. I'd appreciate a response from our Nursing faculty as to the quality of education provided by one of the nursing programs identified in the video presentation.
