Yes seems like they are making room for a combined Permian manager.. I wonder how many of us will be left behind after the bloodbath
Yes, definitely winding down for the near term. Maybe they're making room for the Development Manager to move up the ranks and become Asset Manager over a combined Conventional/Unconventional group?
Permian is going to be winding down for awhile, why not use these managers where there is more to do
And Permian is not the only place that this just happened.
Managers are often transferred from areas of high layoffs and low moral so they don't have live with results and be accountable.
The system already identified them as "high pots", being more important than "individual contributors". That's why they get shuffled rather than fired, even if they are lousy supervisors.
It's management taking care of their friends. I have been seeing a lot of this lately. Just shuffle them around and fire all the peons. Obviously the I in SPIRIT doesnt stamd for integrity, it stands for incompetence.
Can't name names dummy. Check the leg announcements online for names.
