I have heard some stores in Oklahoma and Utah reduced the number of DMs by half. One DM running two departments. Is this going to be a new model or just a coincidence?

The "Trials" have reached our ears here in the NorthEast - and Upper Management states it's not true of coarse.... yet we've been without a DM in Lumber and Electrical for months.
At the last DM meeting, we were told that none of this is true "As of right now" and that they are not replacing those DM's, as they are using these hours and payroll for the employees that are still here, rather than hiring outside the company.

Not sure about Utah, but Oklahoma did reduce no. of DMs in 2 stores.
